This is a beautiful playing and sounding 1973 Ovation Deacon 1252 in a classic Natural finish. This is the nicer version of the Ovation Breadwinner with nicer finish, binding on the neck, & fancier inlays! This is missing the original neck pickup cover but works great. This is one of the earliest examples of active electronics, taking 2 9v batteries to help power the FET Preamp inside. Has two taper pots in the back of the guitar that help with the amount of output each pickup produces. Has a master volume, master tone, 3 Way Pickup Selector, & a Mid-Range Boost. Comes with the original case which has the manual included. The two cubby holes aren't attached fully.
