Late 1940s Fender Dual Eight Professional Console Lap Steel Refinished w/ OHSC
This is a fantastic sounding, looking, & super rad Late 1940s Fender Dual Eight Professional Console Lap Steel! This has been refinished red a long time ago but has the original Lollypop Tuners & Hardware. The pots have been changed out in the past but everything works fantastic & sounds great! We have it tuned to C6 & E9 tuning. It comes with the original hard shell case which all the latches still work on but does have some duct tape to hold the tolex down. The inside pouch for the legs to the lap steel still works but the left latch has been worn down but still remains closed!
It has the Roman Numeral Fretboard which dates this to at the latest 1949 but it could be as early as 1947. A great piece of vintage Fender history!
